Not the Right Mom struck exactly the right chord - it was laugh out loud funny, totally relatable for all parents, but also educated us about life in the neurodivergent community. We had many folks living with autism or loving someone with autism in attendance, and it was mission-fulfilling for them to see themselves reflected on our stage.
— Irene Green Executive Director O'Shaughnessy Theatre at St. Catherine University
As the mother of an intellectually disabled child, this show gave me strength, made me know I’m not alone, and helped me muster the courage to talk about what I and so many other parents go through. I knew I needed to share this incredible show with our community.
— Kara Lakes, Director, Ojai Storytelling Festival & Performances To Grow On
Not the Right Mom is hilarious and heartbreaking; jubilant and thought-provoking. Although it’s a story of one mother’s trials and tribulations, it is amazingly relevant and relatable to people from all walks of life.  A gifted storyteller at the peak of her craft, Megan is also a consummate professional and a joy to work with— but be warned— once you do, you will surely want to be her friend.
— Kris Kataoka - Curtis Theatre Manager and Artistic Director
Not the Right Mom is relevant, personal, funny, and thought provoking. It’s a story every person can identify with no matter their life experience.
